South Lake has a community pool and pool house for use by our residents and their guests. The pool facility is open from approximately Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. There is a large pool and a smaller wading/kiddie pool, and the pool deck has chairs and lounge chairs for use at the pool.

South Lake has two community playgrounds for use by our residents and their guests. The Homeowners’ Association maintains these playgrounds and ensures that they are inspected for safety. Community playgrounds can be used for private activities (e.g. birthday parties) but cannot be reserved.

South Lake has two large recreational lawns for use by our residents and their guests. These large lawn areas can be used for impromptu games of soccer, football, etc. One of these lawns includes a large gazebo which can be used for private activities (e.g. birthday parties) but cannot be reserved.

South Lake has four large retention ponds which can be used by residents and their guests for fishing. In 2023, the association began a joint project with the City of Greenwood to prevent erosion and install new fountains in all ponds.
