Annual Assessment (Dues)
The South Lake Homeowner’ Association has an annual assessment to each homeowner that is due January 1 of each year. The amount of the assessment is set based on the budget of operating expenses that is approved in the fall of the preceding year.
The 2024 annual assessment is $525, due January 1, 2024. Assessments received after January 30, 2024, will incur a late fee.
The biggest advantage of the Homeowners’ Association is access to the shared common areas within the community. Anyone living in the community can take advantage of these amenities which are funded by the annual assessment. If the assessment is not paid on time, the Homeowners’ Association and our property management company are required to enforce the governing documents and assess late fees to keep the budget of the community on track and ensure that the Homeowners’ Association can pay its expenses.
