When you purchased your home, you agreed to be subject to the Master Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and the Bylaws of the South Lake Homeowners’ Association. These documents should have been provided to you prior to or at closing to review.
Master Declaration of Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions
The CC&Rs have specific provisions regarding what can and cannot be done on your property. It is important for you to understand the content of the CC&Rs, as violations of the covenants and restrictions are tracked by our property management company. If a homeowner is found in violation of the CC&Rs, the homeowner will be required to correct the violation at the homeowner’s expense. If the violation is not corrected, a lien can be placed on the property. Questions or concerns regarding violations should be addressed to our property management company.
By-laws of the South Lake Homeowners' Association
The Bylaws essentially provide the operating rules for the association. This includes how correspondence is sent to homeowners as well as how annual homeowner meetings are to be conducted.
