Community Playgrounds
South Lake has two community playgrounds for use by our residents and their guests. The Homeowners’ Association maintains these playgrounds and ensures that they are inspected for safety. Community playgrounds can be used for private activities (e.g. birthday parties) but cannot be reserved.
The larger playground is located off South Lake Avenue and Bluewing Road near the community pool. Please be courteous to your neighbors; if you drive to the larger playground, please use the designated parking area and avoid parking on the street. The smaller playground is located off Southward Avenue overlooking the pond.
As with all shared community facilities, please remove all trash and belongings after your visit so the playgrounds look nice and are safe for our young children. It is the parents’ responsibility to supervise children when they are using the playground equipment. Homeowners are liable for damages caused when using community facilities (including the homeowner’s guests). If you have concerns regarding the condition of the playground equipment, please notify our property management company immediately.
